When staying at Dar Kalam, you really are in the heart of the Medina.

Only two minutes away is the Famous Place Jemâa ElFna, or The Big Square. There, life is buzzing all day and all night long, with snake charmers, musicians, henna tatooers, food stores, orange juice sellers etc..

Dar Kalam's central location enables you to reach any point of interest very quickly, either walking or by cab, and yet, you are still able to relax in a calm environment since we are located in a quiet dead-end street.

The Souk and its array of tiny maze-like alleys is only 2 mn away, you are 1 block away from the Fnaque Berbère and its Kafé, and the Place des épices (Spices Square), with its famous Café des Epices,is only 5mn from home.

Besides, if you wish to catch a taxi to go somewhere a little further away (Jardin Majorelle for instance), you only need to walk 200m to get to Bab Elksour (gate Ksour) and there you will find taxis.

From this Gate, you can also take a stroll to Guéliz (the modern Marrakech, with its large avenues, big stores, international restaurants, French Cafés) which you will reach within 10 mn only!
